Robert Zou, WG’94, is the founder, chairman and CEO of Arrail Dental Group, which launched its first dental clinic in Beijing in 1999. Currently, Arrail is one of the largest private dental groups in China with practices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Hangzhou, and Tianjin.

Prior to founding the Arrail Group, Mr. Zou worked with more than 14 multinational companies in China, Hong Kong, and the United States. He has worked for A.T. Kearney in Hong Kong as a management consultant involved in developing China entry strategies and market development strategies for multinational healthcare companies and has also worked for Bankers Trust in Hong Kong in the field of investment management. Mr. Zou was also with SmithKline Beecham in China as marketing manager responsible for establishing its marketing practices there.

Mr. Zou received his BA from Tianjin Foreign Language Institute and earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently a member of the Wharton Executive Board for Asia, a member of the Board of Overseers of Penn Dental Medicine, and director of the 2005 Committee of China’s Western Returned Scholars’ Association.
