Yu Gang, GRW’90, is co-founder and chairman of Yihaodian.

Prior to his current position, he served as vice president of Worldwide Production at Dell Inc., managing Dell’s more than $18 billion in procurement spending in Asia Pacific. Yu also served as Vice President of Worldwide Supply Chain Operations at Amazon.com. He is the founder and former chairman and CEO of CALEB Technologies, now a subsidiary of Accenture.

For 15 years, Yu served as the Jack G. Taylor Professor of Business at the University of Texas, Austin’s McCombs School of Business. A renowned expert and academic, he has published more than 80 journal articles and four books; he also holds three patents. He has received numerous awards and accolades, including the 2002 Franz Edelman Management Science Achievement Award from INFORMS and the 2003 Outstanding IIE Publication Award from the Institute of Industrial Engineers.

Yu holds an MS from Cornell University and a PhD from the Wharton School.
