Mr. Peng joined in Tencent in 2008 and is currently a Corporate VP at Tencent and Managing Director of Tencent Industry Collaboration Fund, heading the investment and acquisition efforts across the company. Prior to Tencent, Mr. Peng was a Corporate Development Principal at Google, in charge of Google’s investment and acquisition activities in the Greater China area. As one of the very first employees of Google China, Mr. Peng also led the development of Google China reseller program from scratch and grew it into one of the two major sales channels of Google China. Prior to that, Mr. Peng was a Global Strategist at the Global Strategy Group of Samsung Group in Seoul, Korea. Mr. Peng spent his early career mostly in the capital markets in China, and worked for such organizations as the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Mr. Peng earned a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University, a master degree in Economics from the Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, and an MBA degree from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.
